The pages are based on art and text taken from my journals. I began writing my "Multiple Journals" in November of 1994, at age 44. I was being ''flooded " by memories of early childhood abuse. I was quickly diagnosed with MPD/DID-- Multiple Personality Disorder, or Dissociative Identity Disorder.
These pages, my journal pages, later became Looking Inside: Life Lessons from a Multiple Personality in Pictures and Words. They are a reminder that It is possible to survive childhood abuse, it is possible to remember the abuse, and it ispossible to survive the remembering. I am an Artist and a Survivor.

How do I get from here to there?
I am blind. No eyes to see.
I take another step. Another.
I climb the mountain in darkness.
The next step will kill me.
If I do not see it, I will not know.
If I see it, I will not dare to make the leap.
Either way, I do not win this game.
There is no prize for winning.
I do not expect to win.
And Yet...
